Digital Simulation – Finite Element Analysis
Digital simulation using finite element analysis helps deliver better, more innovative, and robust products in less time.

We can help you now to:

• Avoid costly in service failures
• Minimise physical prototyping with associated time and material costs
• Gain confidence that products will be reliable over their design life
• Value engineer by selecting the most cost effective technology that is fit for purpose

Overview

The finite element method is a numerical analysis technique used by engineers, scientists, and mathematicians to obtain solutions to the differential equations that describe a wide variety of physical problems.

Physical problems can range in diversity from solid and fluid mechanics, to electromagnetism or dynamics.

The underlying premise of the method states that a complicated domain can be sub-divided into a series of smaller regions in which the differential equations are approximately solved. By assembling the set of equations for each region, the behaviour over the entire problem domain is determined.

Systems

Finite Element Analysis tools are available for use on the engineers desktop.

Ingenea have two industry solutions available to fit the appropriate application and budget.
